Home again, Home again...

Yes, I am back home... I think I am still in holiday mode - at least yesterday I was. I didn't seem to get much done. This morning I got stuck into some housework and washing and school - the usual.

I had a lovely relaxing time away. Even though I took Ellie Elna with me, I only did a bit of finishing of stockings and made some Christmast baskets.

Elizabeth spent some time with her cousin Emily making rag dolls. Here she is helping her using Ellie:


I'm not sure how many rag dolls they made, but there were quite a few!

On Saturday we had the craft market where I sold stockings and Christie sold cards and cookies.

I have a few personalized stockings on order, so I need to get stuck into them in the next few days and send them up to my sister's. And then I am looking forward to not doing anymore stockings!!! Maybe I will do some Christmas sewing for myself :) You never know!

I can hardly believe it - I won this cute pattern from Scrap Bag! What a lovely surprise just before I go on holidays!!! I will have to wait till I get home to get it in my hot little hands, but it is something to look forward to!!

I am all packed... including Ellie Elna, our little sewing machine. Elizabeth is going to be teaching her cousin to sew and then we are going to give Ellie to her. Ellie is a good beginners machine with speed control. Elizabeth has been using her up till recently. She's swapping over to Bernie and of course I have my beautiful Nina :)

I quilted a few more stockings today and will finish them off when I get up north. The market is not on for another week and a half, so I will have time to finish them there.

I will most likely be putting an update up every now and then.. but if not, then I shall see you in a few weeks time!!! Happy sewing everyone!!!
