Sewing Updates

For those who don't know us, I am on the left and Alice on the right.

The time is suddenly flying by. Poor Cam had to leave yesterday since he has to work tomorrow, and that means we only have a week left! Oh well, should still get some more fun in :)

Alice registered us for the Mystery Marathon and we worked real hard yesterday. We were two hours behind because we are in Perth, but that probably isn't a good enough excuse for not finishing!

Ok, here are photos for those of you who have been asking!!

An explosion of fabric and blocks:

The floor needs a good sweep soon:

I think by the time we got to step 12, the Tasmanians were done :)

Putting it all on the floor, ready to sew together the strips (sorry, missed a few photos in between - too busy trying to catch up with the rest of Oz!):

All sewn together and waiting for borders:

Getting there.. getting there! It was fun! Thanks Helen :)

Wow, what a beautiful result. I'm feeling a little exhausted at the thought of all that sewing though.

Glad you're enjoying your holiday.

Hi Joy--quilt is looking good---and I love the pictures of your sewing area--I don;t feel so bad about mine right now--I have been paper piecing--that is one messy way to make a quilt in my book???? Hugs, just, Di

Ooooh Gorgeous! What color will the borders be? Green maybe?? Where or for who is this quilt going to be for?
