I was talking to Alice the other day, and told her that instead of whining about all the ufo's I need to finish, I was just going to pick one and work on it. I decided to choose Harmony Village, a BOM from 2009. This is how far I was with it:
I did like how it was turning out and thought it would be a good one to work on. So I got all my bits together and printed the rest of the instructions out. Over the past two weeks I finished these blocks:

I think I now have about four more to do, so that is pretty exciting :)
I also managed to finish the March stitcheries for the 'Tis the Season SAL. I think they turned out quite cute. I am making them bigger than the orignal pattern since my eyes are not that great anymore :)

Of course I didn't do all this sewing by myself. I had a little help from this ball of fluff who wouldn't hold still for the camera:

Say "cheese" Ameera! Nope.. gotta keep working, don't bother me...

Oh well, maybe next time...
It's the end of the weekend and I didn't get everything done that I wanted to, as usual. But luckily it is "Spring Break" at the American school, and we are joining in so that the kids can hang out with their friends (and I can sew???!!!). Ah the joys of homeschooling and being able to set your own schedule :) I'll catch you all later in the week!

You've managed to get a lot done in the last 2 weeks. My cat likes to sit with me when I sew, (and sit on whatever I am sewing as well). I like your colours on the SAL, I've just realised it's April now and we need to start the next 2 blocks soon.
Your quilt blocks are very nice. You have been busy. The little kitten is so sweet. I so enjoy reading about your blog.
Little ball of fluff looks adorable!! From what I could see!! :-)
Looks like you are a busy gal. Lots of gorgeous projects!
