A Sewing Machine Cover and Give Away!

I've been contemplating making a cover for Nina ever since I got her and decided she was going to be a permanent fixture in the kitchen. One day this month I came across this challenge at Jenny's and thought it might motivate me to actually get one made instead of just thinking about it.

So, I got some fabric and started playing. And came up with this... the pinwheels are pockets :)

I seem to think it still needs something above the pockets.. maybe some hearts? What do you think?

Anyway, I consider it done. Now, there is still time to join this challenge :) You have till the end of this month to make one and go in the draw for some lovely prizes from Jenny and Cheryl. Take a look at them:

A pattern from Cheryl ~ isn't it gorgeous!!

A lovely book from Jenny.

So come on, join in!! You can do it!!

Ooooooh nice. I love it!! I don't think it needs anything else. It looks great the way it is. And the pockets are a very clever idea - what will you put in these? AND where is mine?

What a clever idea, love the pinwheels too, I find them very fickle..sometimes easy and sometimes difficult.. Good luck in the contest.

The pinwheels on your cover are a great idea. The pockets will be so handy for bits and pieces.
